Thinking aloud,
the word "between"
as if the letters
can be seen . . . .

each letter speaking
of its mean,
suggesting ways
 it will convene

Separation is one way
betwixt the colour green
and way over on the other side,
 the shade of tangerine.

 Websters calls it "set apart"
 - I dare not intervene.
 I know that when I play a bit,
 I can mix up quite a sheen.

There is a place I know of,
 with circumstances unforeseen,
where all the hues together
get smashed to smithereen.

I like this place immensely;
it's like my silver screen.
I go there when I need to
take a break from my routine.

What can I say?  The journey continues every day.
